Enlightenment is nothing at all like you think it is.
I can show you enlightenment, but you will not recognize it.
Enlightenment is attained by letting go of all ideas about the Self, and finding what remains. Sadly you cannot do this by yourself. You need a guide.
Enlightenment cannot be taught, I can merely point you towards it. It is just like leading a horse to water: I cannot force Enlightenment on you, but if it is your destiny you will drink it in.
The only guide you need is your inner voice. It may or may not lead you to enlightenment, depending on your destiny. Probably not.
Your inner guide may use other people, possibly me, to move you along the path towards enlightenment. If that is your destiny.
Enlightenment does not mean that one is always happy. Does not mean that one always wears a blissful smile.
One who always wears a blissful smile might be enlightened, but I doubt it.
An enlightened person can be radiantly happy, but also can be sad, can be angry, can be jealous. They just know that they are not responsible for the feeling they are experiencing.
The enlightened person knows that they are not ultimately responsible for anything that their body does. In the eyes of The World they are responsible, but not at the level of Truth.
People who know that they are not ultimately responsible for anything that their body does are considered by most legal systems to be insane.
Every life is unique. Every journey to Enlightenment is unique. Every Enlightened person presents uniquely.
An Enlightened person is quite capable of judging and complaining. They just know that the judging and complaining comes from God/The Creator, and that they have no responsibility for it.
